Végére értem. Kicsit revideálni kell a véleményem, hogy tisztességes legyek: Hendrix számát szépen játszotta el a lemez végén, de ez kevés egy LP-hez, ez még egy kislemezre sem elég.
I am listening to John Mayer's album, Room for Squares. I have never heard anything from him earlier - if I remember well - but read good opinions about his musics and guitar skills, so I became curious to listen to something from him. I have listened with a bit of heroism the first seven numbers from the record now, and, although I can say this chap knows how to sing, and the background music is a professional work, too, - but these all is a must to make a record today. I am tired about it, it is so trivial, unexcited, tame and tiresom music.Music says nothing, I can not understand the words, but , I think it does not matter either, because this is a monotonic, tiresome music, wich can be endured only on a long drive in an airconditioned, big and silent car - in which I have never sat before, and I guess, never will. This all means to me, this music is crap. If every and each records of this chap is smells so with suspicion of aspirating to be a poovy song hit, then not buying of his a CD, but it does not worth the bandwidth for those fifteen minutes, and the 40-45 minutes from my life to listen anything again from him.
I have to change my opinion a bit when reaching to the end. Hendrix number The Wind Cries for Mary is played beautifully on the end of the record, but, hey, this is not worth an LP, it is not enough even on a single.
